Meet Our Woodland Wanderer

Recently I had the request (from a place that carries my prints) to create something that was a bit more adventurous. Since I had already created this skull a while back, I thought I'd just revisit my old drawing with some new accessories to really help tell a story...

I wanted him to give like Park Ranger meets Boy Scout leader meets lone explorer meets possibly indigenous herbsman (I mean, those textile patterns, right?!).

This friendly traveler is just the sort of fellow you'd hope to meet out on the trail, who'd be sure to regale you with a short but witty story of a previous exploring mishap in that very same area years ago, leaving you with a few choice words of wisdom you didn't even know how much you needed. Before parting ways he'd likely give you a great local foraging tip or two that only those who truly hold the land in their heart would know, and with a tip of his hat, he and the faint scent of frankincense would disappear around the next bend.
